We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Deposit Operations Specialist at our corporate office in Grand Rapids, MI. United Bank is searching for driven individuals who are extremely detailed and focused on accuracy. Whether you have several years of experience or are new to the banking industry, we would love to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
The Deposit Operations Specialist position is a fundamental position at United Bank. Deposit Operations Specialists ensure processing efficiency and user satisfaction is maintained for all electronic services including wire transfers, ATM/ debit card processing and all online banking products. You are responsible for documenting and maintaining procedures for each process. You perform data entry, verification of transactions, file maintenance and balancing and problem resolution for multiple processing applications. You are responsible for new account input and maintenance, existing account maintenance, balancing internal official item accounts, annual escheat process, offside ATM reconcilements and records research. You will also be responsible for areas of compliance as it relates to your position and may be assigned special projects or additional duties.
This position requires:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;
- 6 months to one year related experience and/or training;
- Regularly required to sit;
- Utilizing hands & arms;
- Ability to talk & hear;
- Clear vision at 20 inches or less.
