GENERAL PURPOSE
The Corporate Insurance Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day insurance and related risk management activities on behalf of the organization. This involves assisting with assessing insurance needs, analyzing risk exposure, and making recommendations to safeguard the company against potential financial losses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist with renewal process for all MillerKnoll’s insurance policies.
- Lead the completion of insurance applications.
- Facilitate and own certificates of insurance.
- Lead the collection and maintenance of internal database for insurance documentation.
- Coordinate timely payment of invoices related to insurance costs.
- Partner with the general accounting team to ensure insurance related transactions, including accruals, are recorded accurately and timely.
- Interact with insurance brokers and other internal and external partners.
- Support the organization with the analysis and management of total cost of risk.
- Help ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards and best practices in the area of insurance and risk management.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting, finance or risk management.
- Experience in an insurance or risk management role.
Skills and Abilities
- Expert ability to think strategically and execute tactically; must be financially literate and possess well developed business acumen.
- Exhibits a leadership style that reflects creative and innovative thinking, performing as a team player, and that is service oriented.
- Demonstrated high level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to communicate information, ideas, procedures and processes in a logical sequence; at a level appropriate to the audience and resulting in effective working relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software and tools.
