We are hiring a Logistics Specialist to monitor and adjust transportation optimization plans, analyze trends and collaborate cross functionally to implement strategies that enhance efficiencies, minimize costs and support business objectives.
This position uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, improve, forecast and support logistic operations and processes.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Assist in optimizing our supply chain processes using data-driven insights.
- Identify savings and value opportunities through data analysis and be able to work with internal and external partners.
- Collect, analyze and recommend action to support key metrics and other strategic projects.
- Provide supply chain analysis to minimize costs, maximize utilization and throughput.
- Ensure the data that is in our TMS is complete and accurate for our clients.
- Employ best practices to analyze large amounts of data while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Examine current processes and implement or recommend improvements to drive out waste.
- Forge and strengthen partnerships with various departments to ensure alignment of supply chain goals with company objectives and promote a unified approach to challenges.
- Tracks, monitors and measures implemented solutions for moderately complex issues, applying company policies and procedures in the resolution of various issues.
- Communicates perceived risks to senior staff members and leadership with recommendations for mitigation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills
- At least 1 year of related experience
Preferred Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of analysis tools and techniques
- Prior logistics experience
