We seek a passionate and versatile Agile Coach that can integrate Scrum, Kanban, and waterfall frameworks to join our team. Your role will be pivotal in transforming our project management from traditional methods to Agile frameworks, making work visible and manageable. A successful candidate will be dynamic and experienced to support our governance model. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in coaching teams across these methodologies and driving continuous improvement through empirical data and metrics. This is a hybrid role requiring candidate to be on-site at our Grand Rapids, MI office Monday through Wednesday
What You'll Be Doing
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to teams and individuals in adopting and improving their use of Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Facilitation: Facilitate work within groups and between teams to ensure smooth collaboration and effective communication.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging empirical data and metrics to enhance team performance and project outcomes.
- Project Management: Assist in project management or coordination activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals and governance models.
- Influence and Leadership: Manage and influence teams and stakeholders without direct reporting structures, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Training and Workshops: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate teams on Agile practices and methodologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that Agile practices are aligned with business objectives.
- Partner: with team Scrum Masters and Kanban Coaches leveraging governance model

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Kanban Management Professional (KMP), or similar certifications.
- 10+ years of experience in IT delivery working within Agile teams in various methodologies
- 5+ years of experience coaching Agile transformations at scale in large organizations (20+ teams).
Preferred skills
- Agile Team Facilitator (ICP-ATF)
- Agile Coach (ICP-ACC)
- Preferred Agile Certifications:
- SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Certified Kanban
- Experience in creating and delivering Agile training content, workshop materials, and job aids at the Program and Portfolio levels.
- Experience in Agile and Scaling Agile transformations with proven history successfully maturing Program and Portfolio teams to independence.
- Solid knowledge and experience in applying Lean Thinking, Systems Thinking and Change Management principles and practices.
- Experience in Service Now
